What is jitsu-do karate?

Jitsu-Do Karate is a product of years of passion and study on the part of Sensei Michael Ginn. Jitsu-Do Karate was opened in 2009 in partnership with the Town of Newmarket and it has grown significantly!.

Increasing the number and variety of classes as well as the number of students, Jitsu-Do Karate has turned from a three-hours-a-week part-time hobby into a thriving full-time venue for martial arts and fitness development.  Jitsu-Do Karate has also expanded outside the dojo walls to run self-defense, kickboxing and karate school programs as well as corporate training events, pre-school programs and even summer camps!

We have recently expanded our classes outside of York Region and are offering classes in Innisfil, Ontario as well to service more students and spread our love of martial arts even further!
